This is my first handmade Cuckoo Clock, which I made in wood-shop class at school.
The design for this clock comes from a pattern that I found in wood-shop class.
I figured that since it was my second year in wood-shop, I should tackle something like a challenge.
It is made up of many flat sheets of composite wood, similar to the cherry basket that I made earlier, where each little detail was carefully cut by a drill press, and the plastic hanging pine cones are just what it needs to finish the look.
While there is one tiny mistake on the top part of the clock (see if you can find it), I am very proud of it.
This classy clock now hangs on my bedroom wall! It'll probably be there to stay, too.
While it's fun to see the tiny plastic bird peek out every hour, the noises do sometimes get annoying/distracting.
